I really hope the Watchmen flick comes out well - I'd really hate to see this one get fucked up.

What gets me is Rorschach is played but that dude who played Kelly Leak (the motorcycle-driving bad boy) in The Bad News Bears - I didn't think he even acted anymore.

In 2003, I was especially active in Chicago's progressive movement, and I wear it like a badge of honor that I helped shut down Lakeshore.

Oh...and the really cool part? My manager at the time (a right-wing authoritarian of the highest degree) happened to be downtown, and he was totally inconvenienced by our protest. I'll never stop grooving on that fact. ;)

Further, how appropriate is it that legendary bluesman Buddy Guy is doing the music for the opening of a movie about a war-protest in Chicago (the home of the blues)?

The audio and video were synchronized...I guess "out of touch" might have been a better phrase. They just seemed a bit off. Willow was spot-on, though.

That might be a problem with whoever formatted the video for web. Or it could be a problem with the source, I dunno. I thought the girl doing Buffy was fine, but Zander and Giles did seem a little off - I attributed it to the fact that the original cast simply wasn't used to voiceover acting, which is quite different from live acting. They suffered from the same problem in the "Chaos Bleeds" videogame.

Wow, Jer...what album is that from? Buddy Guy is awesome and this had a very "modern feel" (for lack of a better phrase)> Love it.

Not bad, too bad the plans fell through. The voice acting was a bit off, though - Xander, Buffy and Giles all felt a bit out of sync or something.
